How to use

Original Laundry Detergent/Advanced Wash Pocket Pal

  • Suitable for washing most fabrics.
  • Pretreat any heavy duty stains with a little free pour straight onto soiled fabric.
  • Add 14-20mls to the wash. There are markers down the side of the refill that will help guide you, but they're not perfect which is why we have allowed a broader dosage range.
  • 40 degrees is optimal for performance, however Dirt will work at colder temperatures with only a mild performance difference.

Wool and Delicate Detergent Pocket Pal

  • Suitable for washing delicates including wool, linen, silk and nylon.
  • Pretreat any heavy duty stains with a little free pour straight onto soiled fabric.
  • Add 14-20mls to the wash. There are markers down the side of the refill that will help guide you, but they're not perfect which is why we have allowed a broader dosage range.
  • Pick your temp wisely. Most wools are best washed at 40 degrees. Most silks are best washed cold. If in doubt, follow the garment care instructions.

Powder Booster Pocket Pal

  • Add in wash: 30g for front loader, 60g for top loader machine
  • As a paste: Mix a ratio of 1:3 with water. Apply as a paste, and agitate. Leave for 2 hours max
  • As a soaker: Add 30g to 7L of water and dissolve. Soak whites for minimum 2 hours, soak colours for maximum 2 hours
  • Important Note: Make sure you always follow garment care instructions and do not use if the product says 'Do Not Bleach'. Always treat similar colours together to avoid colour run between garments.

Food and Drink Stain Remover Carry On

  • Follow garment care label instructions and always patch test fabric for colourfastness
  • Use the applicator spray bottle to target the stain directly
  • Allow the stain remover between 5 minutes and half an hour to work before machine washing or blotting to remove the stain remover residue
  • If you're out and about use the carry on bottle to target fresh stains, allow 30 minutes to work (but not longer) then blot with water to remove stain remover residue
  • If the stain doesn't start to fade within 30 minutes, treat again

Oil, Body and Grease Stain Remover Carry On

  • Follow garment care label instructions and always patch test fabric for colourfastness
  • Rinse solids or stain residue from fabric
  • Use the applicator spray bottle to target the stain directly
  • Agitate the stain by lightly rubbing the fabric together
  • Wait 15 minutes before washing to allow time for the stain remover to work
  • Do not leave the stain remover on any fabric for longer than one hour before washing

Fabric Spray Carry On

  • Hold the bottle about 50cm away from your fabric and spray in a sweeping motion to mist your fabrics then let dry.
  • Don't use on fabrics that water spot like suede, silk and leather, and don't drench a single area.
  • If you're worried about watermarking, spot test on a small area to begin with.
  • Please note, a little goes a long way - the natural probiotic odour eliminator starts to work upon application and remains active for up to four weeks.

Dirt-ie Bag

  • Carry as a backpack or a tote. Scrunch or fold to pack for travel.
  • Turn inside out to dry between uses. Wash on a 30 degree cycle with any of our detergents.

Meet the Artist

Grace McCarthy is a Nyapajarri woman of the Walmajarri nation, from the Fitzroy Valley in the heart of the Western Kimberley.

She lives a life centered on service and community. Grace is a working remote community nurse, alongside her roles as a mother, sister, auntie, and grandmother.

The practice of painting began for Grace more recently. It became a means for her own healing after experiencing a significant family tragedy.

Her artwork is conceptually inspired by the Jilawarnti — the essential, natural wells of water found across her family's Country and the vast desert areas of the Kimberley region.

The specific colours and forms she uses are drawn from deep memories of her childhood spent on Country. It was there that her mother taught her the fundamental necessity of living in harmony with the land, the principle of treading lightly, and the continuous importance of caring for it as an indispensable source of life.

Travel is not just about where you go, it’s the stories you gather along the way. Together with Grace, we’ve created something that carries her story — designed to travel and to be told.

This collaboration is grounded in a shared respect for our land, bridging Grace's connection to Country with our commitment to protecting it. It’s a piece of our story, ready to become part of yours.

The Plastic Switch

By popular demand, we’ve introduced the option for plastic Carry On bottles. They’re lighter in your suitcase, smash-proof and hold 30ml (up from 20ml), so you get more uses per trip. And just like the glass originals, they are designed to be refilled and reused, over and over again.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners the Yawuru people, the elders past and present, where this filming and collaboration has taken place.

How many loads in a Pocket Pal?

There are 5+ loads in the Pocket Pal, with one load = 14-20mls
Do the Pocket Pals also go through the Refill Return program?

Just like our other refill packs, our Pocket Pals can all be sanitised and are a part of our Refill Return Program.
Can I take these items on an airplane?

Our Pocket Pals and Carry Ons were made for laundry on-the-go and are the perfect size for travelling.

The Pocket Pals are 100mls, Carry On Bottles 30mls, and the travel bag dimensions are 23x17x10cm meaning you can pop the whole bundle in your carry-on bag or pack in your suitcase.
Do the dispenser sprays all come full?

Yes. All our Carry On spray bottles come full.
Are all your products septic safe?

Yes, all our products are biodegradable, and safe for septic use.

If you are running a smaller or specialised home system, we do recommend you opt for the Original Laundry Detergent over the Advanced Wash; just because it is the most readily biodegradable.
Can I use the Stain Removers on all fabrics?

The Food and Drink Stain Remover and Powder Booster both cannot be used on fabrics that say "do not bleach". You'll typically find these labels on the inside left of your clothes.

The labels generally exist on delicate fabrics; like wools and silks, and fabrics that have not been through a thorough 'dye setting' process.

The Oil, Body and Grease Stain Remover can be used on most fabrics. Just do not use it on wool, silk, leather or hand dyed fabrics.

If in doubt, we would recommend you patch test, by spraying a small amount of the stain solution onto an inconspicuous part of the fabric, and wait 30 minutes to check that everything is okay first.
What’s the difference between the Oil, Body and Grease Stain Remover and the Food and Drink Stain Remover?

The Oil, Body and Grease Pre-Treater Stain Remover contains a quadruple enzyme blend.

Enzymes break down the complex bonds within specific targeted molecules, making it easier for the surfactants to lift the stain residue away. They work best on complex oil and protein based stains, from mayonnaise to bodily fluids.

The Food and Drink Spot Stain Treater works best on food, drink and dye based stains as it contains oxygen bleach that releases oxygen when exposed to water. This has a whitening effect, and is what allows the instant fade on stains such as coffee, wine and berries within a span of 30 minutes.
