We're bringing you the receipts
When you buy into the idea of doing good, you deserve to see where the good goes.
Our Refill Return program is complex. When we make sweeping statements like "48,000 refill packs reused", it doesn't reflect the nuance. Which products we're actively processing, which products are being turned into scoops, and how many refills we've reused in the last year.
That is what this page is about. The data is live, updating daily. Real impact, in real time.

**We are processing your Fabric Spray refill returns, but we haven’t yet reached the return volume needed to create a sustainable supply of second life refills.
FAQs
Does 'actively processing' refills mean that they are also in stock?
Not necessarily.
Actively processing means we have a production schedule for the refill packs. It is limited only by the pace that returned stock comes back into our warehouse.
We sometimes run out of second life stock so there may be a short pause while we wait for more refill packs to process to come back to us.
Why do you turn Powder Booster refills and Pocket Pals into scoops?
We spent a long time trying to work out how to effectively reuse our Powder Booster refills.
Unlike our liquid refills with spouts and caps, our Powder Booster needs to be cut to open, and we struggled to find a way to securely reseal them once cut.
We are working through it but so far have not managed to succeed with either stickers or changing the position of the cutting line, so it's got us a little stumped.
So for now, we are shredding and moulding them into scoops ensuring like everything else, we give our packaging a second life.
We don't receive enough Pocket Pals returned back to us to generate sufficient stock for Second Life sale. This is because people tend to refill them at at home and reuse them across several different holidays.
Can I just recycle my refills at home?
You can. Our refill packs are recyclable via your local soft plastics recycling station (not the curb-side recycling bin). However, we believe that there is an important R, that becomes before recycling; reusing. It is more energy efficient, and unlike soft plastic recycling, it has a guaranteed end use.
Our goal is to create a closed loop system, which is why we encourage our customers to send their empty refills back to us for reuse. With a free reply paid envelope, the system runs at no expense to you, or the planet.
If you prefer to recycle at home via your soft plastic recycling scheme, you are welcome to.
Do you accept other brands' refills for recycling?
Unfortunately, no. Because our system runs on reuse, we can't do anything with other brands' refills. It costs us time and energy to sort them, so please only send us Dirt refills.
