How to use

Hold the Fabric Spray about 50cm away from your fabric and spray in a sweeping motion to mist your fabrics then let dry. Don't use on fabrics that water spot like suede, silk and leather, and don't drench a single area. If you're worried about watermarking, spot test on a small area to begin with. Please note, a little goes a long way -- the natural probiotic odour eliminator starts to work upon application and remains active for up to four weeks.

Designed to eliminate bad odours.

You can spray bedding, couches, curtains, coats, sneakers, car seats with our odour removing Fabric Spray. If it’s not quite fresh, a few sprays will sort it out.

It’s made for both the in-between moments, when something isn’t dirty enough to wash but could do with a little refresh. And for the hard to wash items; think the doona you can’t fit in the machine, the jacket you’ve only worn twice, or the rug that wont let go of a bad odour. Spray, let it dry, done.

Works using probiotics, not perfume.

The odour eliminating technology comes from a encapsulated probiotic. Think of it as good bacteria for your fabrics.

The moment it's sprayed, probiotics come to life and produce an enzyme that breaks down odour molecules, rather than just layering fragrance over the top. The real work happens quietly in the background, breaking down bad smells for up to four weeks after you spray.

Why not wash less?

Sometimes things aren't dirty, they're just not fresh. Every load you run adds up, so switch a wash for a spritz.

40–170L

of water

One load can use anywhere from around 40 to 170 litres, depending on your machine.

Up to 700,000

microfibres

A single load of synthetics can shed hundreds of thousands of tiny plastic fibres into our waterways.

Less energy

every cycle

Each skipped load is one less round of heating, spinning and drying.

Longer life

for your clothes

Washing is the toughest thing clothes go through. Less of it means less fading, pilling and stretching.

FAQs

Is Fabric Spray part of the Refill, Return program?

Yes, all our refills are collected for reuse. We’re processing your Fabric Spray refill returns, but we haven’t yet received enough to offer Second Life Fabric Spray refills consistently.

Is Fabric Spray the same as a Linen Spray?

It's better. It removes odours more effectively than most linen sprays, and its naturally scented. Most linen sprays rely on synthetic scents that mask bad smells instead of removing them.

My Fabric Spray is hazy, is that okay?

Yes, that’s normal. Fabric Spray can have a slight haze because its natural ingredients are mixed with water. Depending on how it’s stored, the essential oils can also give it a very light straw colour.

Can I mix and match scents?

Not at this stage, although please send us an email over at contact@thedirtcompany.com.au if you'd like that option in the future, we're open to figuring out how we could offer it.

Is there anything I can't use Fabric Spray on?

Fabric Spray is safe on anything that won't watermark (so don't use on suede, silk or leather). You can use it on clothes, or around the house on things like carpets, curtains, bed linen, shoes, and furniture.

If you don’t already have a spray bottle, we recommend starting with our Fabric Spray Starter Pack, which comes with a Glass Dispenser Bottle and Carry On, for an easy fabric refresh on-the-go and at home.
