How to use

  • Spot test an inconspicuous part of fabric before using
  • Rinse solids or stain residue from fabric
  • Hold the bottle 10 cm away from the stain and spray
  • Agitate the stain by lightly rubbing the fabric together
  • Wait 15 minutes before washing to allow time for the stain remover to work
  • Do not leave the stain remover on any fabric for longer than one hour before washing

Our Oil, Body and Grease Pre-Treater Stain Remover was made for life’s toughest stains from the longest days, like sweat, oil, blood, makeup, grease, oily sauces and condiment stains.

It brings the expert power of four organic enzymes to deliver an absolutely powerful attack on any stain, but especially those that are protein and oil-based. Simply spray directly onto the stain, agitate and leave for 15 minutes before washing to allow time for the stain remover to work.

What it smells like

Smooth, sweet, earthy and woody, our Stain Remover is formulated with a natural origin fragrance made from Australian Sandalwood. Known for its relaxing powers, Australian sandalwood’s aroma regulates the mind, body and spirit before any stressful activities, like the type you might be encountering in the clothes that you’ll need this product for.

The smell is mid-strength upon application, and will leave a delicious, subtle freshness after washing.

Is the Pre-Treater Stain Remover part of the Refill, Return Program?

Yes, all of our refill packs are part of the Refill, Return Program.

Can I buy the Pre-Treater Stain Remover in Bulk?

Not at this stage. This is because the specialised enzymes in our Oil, Body and Grease formula have a more limited shelf life than our standard blends (they loose about 40% of their activity at about 12 months).

If over time we notice that customers are going through several refill bundles inside that period, we will develop a bulk refill pack.

What’s the difference between the Oil, Body and Grease Pre-Treater Stain Remover and the Food and Drink Spot Stain Treater?

The Oil, Body and Grease Pre-Treater Stain Remover features four organic enzymes that work specifically well at targeting oil and protein based stains.

However, it may be less effective on dye stains as it does not include oxygen bleach, which is used to break down colour in many food, drink and dye-based stains. For these types of stains, the Food and Drink Spot Stain Treater, or a combination of both is the most effective choice.

Fun fact: Oxygen bleach and enzymes cannot exist in the same liquid formula, as the bleach will kill the enzymes. They can however co-exist in powder form, as the molecules are not 'activated' - so if you're after a low key washing solution, Powder Booster might be your go to.
Which stains will the Pre-Treater Stain Remover work best on?

The Oil, Body and Grease Pre-Treater Stain Remover is a heavy duty solution containing four organic enzymes that target and break down any oil and protein based stains including oil, sweat, blood, grease, makeup, oily sauces and condiment stains.
Can I use the Pre-Treater on any fabric?

You can use it on most fabrics. Just do not use it on wool, silk, leather or hand dyed fabrics.

If in doubt, we would recommend you patch test first, by spraying a small amount of the stain solution onto an inconspicuous part of the fabric, and wait 15 minutes to check that everything is okay first.
What happens if I leave the Pre-Treater Stain Remover for more than 15 minutes?

On many fabrics, nothing will happen.

15 minutes is a conservative window of time to leave your product on; it will keep your fabric safe while allowing time for the stain remover to work.

We do not recommend leaving it on for more than one hour before washing it.
