what we accept
- Up to five garments per person.
- Must be designed by an Australian or New Zealand designer or label.
- Items must be clean, fault-free, and in good condition. Think ready to wear and be loved again.
- No underwear, swimwear, jewellery, footwear or accessories.
things to note
- Gift bags are for the first 150 customers through the door.
- All swap items must be assessed by a staff member either at Kowtow Fitzroy or on the day at the swap.
- Our team reserves the right to accept or decline any garment based on the swap guidelines.
- You'll receive one token for every accepted garment. Tokens are valid only at the Clothes Swap event and are non-transferable.
- Please note: once a garment is handed over and accepted, it cannot be returned so bring only what you're truly ready to part with. Anything not re-homed will be donated to Common, a clothing recirculation organisation.
- Keep it kind. This is a community event and like any good community, it runs best on kindness and respect.
