How to use

Original Laundry Detergent/Advanced Wash Pocket Pal

  • Suitable for washing most fabrics.
  • Pretreat any heavy duty stains with a little free pour straight onto soiled fabric.
  • Add 14-20mls to the wash. There are markers down the side of the refill that will help guide you, but they're not perfect which is why we have allowed a broader dosage range.
  • 40 degrees is optimal for performance, however Dirt will work at colder temperatures with only a mild performance difference.

Wool and Delicate Detergent Pocket Pal

  • Suitable for washing delicates including wool, linen, silk and nylon.
  • Pretreat any heavy duty stains with a little free pour straight onto soiled fabric.
  • Add 14-20mls to the wash. There are markers down the side of the refill that will help guide you, but they're not perfect which is why we have allowed a broader dosage range.
  • 4Pick your temp wisely. Most wools are best washed at 40 degrees. Most silks are best washed cold. If in doubt, follow the garment care instructions.

Food and Drink Spot Stain Treater

  • Follow garment care label instructions and always patch test fabric for colourfastness
  • Use the applicator spray bottle to target the stain directly
  • If the stain is tough, use the end of the nozzle to agitate the stain slightly
  • Allow the stain remover between 5 minutes and half an hour to work before machine washing or blotting to remove the stain remover residue
  • If you're out and about use the carry on bottle to target fresh stains, allow 30 minutes to work (but not longer) then blot with water to remove stain remover residue 
  • If the stain doesn't start to fade within 30 minutes, treat again

Oil, Body and Grease Stain Remover

  • Spot test an inconspicuous part of fabric before using
  • Rinse solids or stain residue from fabric
  • Hold the bottle 10 cm away from the stain and spray
  • Agitate the stain by lightly rubbing the fabric together
  • Wait 15 minutes before washing to allow time for the stain remover to work
  • Do not leave the stain remover on any fabric for longer than one hour before washing
  • Turn the spray bottle nozzle to 'off' when not in use to avoid evaporation

Powder Booster

  • Add in wash: 2 scoops for front loader, 4 scoops for top loader machine
  • Make a pretreat paste: add 2 scoops with 6 scoops of water and apply paste onto stain, agitate, and wash after 5 minutes
  • Soak your stains: dissolve 2 scoops in 7L of water. Leave colours for a maximum of two hours
  • Important Note: Make sure you always follow garment care instructions and do not use if the product says 'Do Not Bleach'. Always treat similar colours together to avoid colour run between garments.

Fabric Spray

  • Hold the Fabric Spray about 50cm away from your fabric and spray in a sweeping motion to mist your fabrics then let dry.
  • Don't use on fabrics that water spot like suede, silk and leather, and don't drench a single area. If you're worried about watermarking, spot test on a small area to begin with.
  • Please note, a little goes a long way -- the natural probiotic odour eliminator starts to work upon application and remains active for up to four weeks.

About the Smell Me Bundle

This bundle contains a mini version of all our laundry detergents. They each contain 5 loads, so you can familiarise yourself with the different scents across the range.

It also contains one of each scent of our Fabric Spray Carry Ons, so you can pick your favourite before you invest; as well as our Food and Drink Stain Remover Carry On and Oil, Body and Grease Stain Remover Carry On to complete the mini experience.

FAQs

Do the dispenser sprays all come full?

Yes. All our dispenser carry on sprays come full.
Can I use these products in hot or cold water?

Absolutely! Warmer water actually helps most detergents (including ours) perform better by opening up the fibres in the fabric.

At 20°C, you'll have a reduced performance by an average of 15% (it varies depending on the depth of the stain). As we’re a super high performing detergent, especially when it comes to stain removal, we recommend you wash lighter soiled loads in cold water and spot treat isolated stains. For anything that’s smellier or sweatier with general grime, we recommend upping the temperature to 40°C.
Are all your products septic safe?

Yes, all our products are biodegradable, and safe for septic use.

If you are running a smaller or specialised home system, we do recommend you opt for the Original Laundry Detergent over the Advanced Wash; just because it is the most readily biodegradable.
What's the difference between Original Laundry Liquid and Advanced Wash?

Our Advanced Wash was designed with a little extra punch, especially when it comes to odour control with the addition of an antimicrobial agent.

Original Laundry was created for your general laundry needs, with pure yet powerful performance and a more subtle scent for sensitive noses.

Our Wool and Delicate Wash is exactly what it sounds like, a gentle and high-performing formula made for your most precious threads like wools and silk.
Can I take these products on an airplane?

Our Pocket Pals and Carry Ons were made for laundry on-the-go and are the perfect size for travelling.

The Pocket Pals are 100mls, and Carry On Dispensers 20mL, meaning you can pop all of these these in your carry-on or pack in your suitcase.
Is Fabric Spray the same as a Linen Spray?

Almost. It's half way between a Fabric Refresh Spray, and a Linen Spray. It contains more odour-eliminating technology than a Linen Spray (and some fabric sprays). But it also contains more natural scent profile, with essential oils - most fabric sprays just use 100% synthetic scents to do the job.
Can I use the Food and Drink Stain Remover on all fabrics?

The Food and Drink Carry On Spot Stain Treater cannot be used on fabrics that say "do not bleach". You'll typically find these labels on the inside left of your clothes.

The labels generally exist on delicate fabrics; like wools and silks, and fabrics that have not been through a thorough 'dye setting' process.

If in doubt, we would recommend you patch test, by spraying a small amount of the stain solution onto an inconspicuous part of the fabric, and wait 30 minutes to check that everything is okay first.
