You’ve been there before. You have a perfectly ’spill free' top that you want to wear tomorrow, but you wore it yesterday. It doesn’t smell much, just enough to make your aroma insecurity soar. What do you do, run the risk of stinking, or of looking like a poorly put together bumpkin?
Hopefully neither.
The below are a few little hacks on how to remove odour with what you’ve got available to you. They are easy and they will work. Simples.
  1. Put it outside in the sunlight.
You know that dry fresh smell you get when you pull sheets off the line. Yes, your laundry detergent has something to do with it, but so does the sun. The sunlight has UV rays in it, which kill off bacteria related to scent.
  1. Steam it next to the shower.
It’s a well known fact that steam can help release folds and creases from your clothes, but that’s not all steam does. The steam causes the fibres to relax, essentially releasing the odours.
  2. Put it in the dryer for 10-15 minutes.
This is a desperate time desperate measures strategy because dryers are expensive from a cash and environmental perspective. A blast on the hot setting in your dryer for 10 minutes will kill the bacteria causing smells, wham bam thank you ma’am.
Happy smelling days.
